Brainwaves Kauai LLC is a Mindfulness-Based, Mobile Practice that provides Neurofeedback and Biofeedback services to our clients in their homes, or at designated locations such as hospitals and residential facilities.
With more than 25 years of clinical experience, we have developed an evidence-informed practice, combining modalities and strategies that reflect current neuroscientific research and mindfulness. Over the years we have worked with clients on the East Coast and in Hawaii, and we now welcome the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience with our new neighbors here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
What Does A Mobile Practice Do For You?
A mobile practice enables us to bring our equipment and expertise to you, in your designated location, which may be your home, or office, a residential facility, or even a hospital. Our mobile clients choose Brainwaves Kauai for variety of reasons. Some have serious physical disabilities which make it very difficult to leave their homes. Others do not have access to reliable transportation. We have worked with clients who are challenged by anxiety that is exacerbated by the thought of leaving their home for any reason. Some of our clients are primary caregivers or parents who are confronted with providing care for their loved ones while they are attending to their own needs for self-care. We have also brought our equipment to clients who are recovering from surgical procedures or serious illness.
Who are your clients?
Our clients reach out to us for a variety of reasons. Some have been advised by their health practitioner that neurofeedback or biofeedback may be helpful in dealing with specific conditions or recovery from illness or injury. Others may have read articles or watched programs that refer to biofeedback or neurofeedback. Our clients range in age from young adolescents to senior citizens. Since our background includes providing our services on the East Coast, as well as in Hawaii, we have worked with clients of all races and many different ethnicities. Our clients have included members of the LBGTQIA+ community. We have worked with surfers and writers, artists and musicians, CEO's and entrepreneurs, medical and mental health providers, all seeking to develop new skills to support their continued growth and development.
Our goal as practitioners at Brainwaves Kauai is to support all our clients on their journey toward improved performance, mind-body health and well-being.
